Stade Uniprix (Jarry Park)

Jarry Park is located in the Villeray district of Montreal, Quebec. This famous Montreal sports facility hosts a wide variety of sports and leisure and was home to the Montreal Expos (major league baseball) from 1969-1976.

The park facilitates activities and sports such as soccer, tennis, baskeball and basketball. It hosts leisure activities such as a skating rink, a skate park, and public pool.
Expos

The Expos, Montreal's famous major league baseball played at Jarry Park from 1969-1976 until they moved the team to play at the Olympic Stadium once it was built.

In April 2004, the Jarry Park Tennis Center became the Uniprix Stadium, the new name of the largest chain of independent pharmacists in Quebec-Uniprix Pharmacy.

Today, Jarry Park (Stade Uniprix) is still used for a wide variety of sports and leisure activities.
Montreal habitants use this park from everything to the winding bike path to the man made pond which is very popular. People can picnic, enjoy the gardens and animal habitat the pond has created.
This leisure and sports park is used year round and is an excellent and popular attraction to tourists and Montrealers from all cultures.
